Jeremy served as Manager and Dance Director for the Downtown Cincinnati Arthur Murray's for seven years, while teaching and competing with students all around the world.

Jeremy also has the pleasure of competing with his wife, Desiree', in the American Smooth and Rhythm divisions locally and nationally.

More recently, Jeremy and Desiree reached one of their life's goal by becoming franchisees of their own Arthur Murray Dance Studio here in Cincinnati. Overall, Jeremy believes in the true happiness and enriched life that can come from dancing and loves sharing his passion with others. In short, when Jeremy is smiling, he is dancing.

Desiree' Mainous

Desiree' began dancing ballet, tap and jazz at the age of 3 at the Bonnie Williams Dance Studio in Mt. Carmel, OH. She began competing with group numbers, duets, and solos at the age of 8 and has been in love with competitions ever since. She learned how to tap dance not only from Ms. Bonnie, but also from the world-renown Mr. Savion Glover.

Desiree' has had the privilege of touring this wonderful country of ours dancing in multiple cities with Hoctor's Dance Caravan as a Caravan Kid. When she graduated high school, she danced with the Dayton Tap Company, "Rhythm in Shoes". In 2004, her mother bought her a gift certificate to the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Cincinnati, where she became a student of Jeremy Mainous' and fell in love with ballroom dancing.

In October of 2005, Desiree' became part of the Arthur Murray world as an instructor. Soon after, in January 2007, Jeremy and Desiree' began their journey as husband and wife, dancing through every step of it. Desiree' is a certified instructor in all forms of ballroom dancing and continues to grow always as a student of dance.

She competes professionally in 9 Dance competitions around the country with her partner, and husband, Jeremy; and of course, in Pro-Am competitions with all her amazing students. In March of 2010, Desiree' and Jeremy, became the franchisees of Arthur Murray Blue Ash, OH and are loving everyday!

Kate Alexander

Kate began dancing in musicals at the age of 13 and has been performing ever since. She has appeared in such roles as Maria in The Sound of Music, Ruth in "Pirates of Penzance", Madame Thenardier in "Les Miserables", and Nettie in "Carousel". Excited to get into other dance forms, Kate began learning ballroom in 2006 as part of a senior project for her high school, shortly after which she began training as an instructor.

In fall of 2006 Kate began training in modern dance at college, where she majored in the theatre and dance and minored in sports medicine.

In 2007 she made her premiere as a choreographer- combining modern and ballroom, something that continues to be a great passion for her to this day. In 2009, she began working with high schools, choreographing such musicals as Footloose.

Graduating college, Kate rejoined the real world in May 2010, shortly after which she became part of the Arthur Murray family in Blue Ash. She is now a certified instructor and participating in competitions and loving every minute of it!

Summer Glasmeier

Summer began dancing at the age of 3 at Carol Young's School of Dance in Millville, Ohio. At age 9, she began competing. She fell in love with ballet, but also found great joy in jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop. Summer began assisting teachers at the studio at age 12.

At age 13, she decided to try out for her first musical. She performed in 42nd Street, Crazy 4 You, Schoolhouse Rock Live!, and Leader of the Pack. She spent some time in the orchestra pit for Fiddler on the Roof playing with the fiddler.

Her college career took her far from her days of performing, but never once abandoned her creative side. She graduated from the University of Dayton in May 2008 with a BA in Communication.

While dancing never left her heart, she was ecstatic to find ballroom dancing in 2010 with Arthur Murray Blue Ash. She was able to put her dance skills to work, and again, share her passion for dance with others.

Donnie Svab

Donnie started dancing at the age of 17 performing choreographed routines at local dance clubs in the Akron area. Then later that same year he joined Saks Fifth Avenue OFF Fifth. The world of fashion limited his dance time, but never his passion.

He moved to the Cincinnati area after being promoted to management. Being hypnotized at formal events by ballroom dancing, it motivated him to focus on dance once again.

Determined, he looked up his local Arthur Murray Studio and joined the dance family. After extensive training, he was certified to begin teaching and now has the wonderful opportunity to guide students through their dancing journey and loves every moment of it.
